For centuries, warm salt hydrotherapy baths have been used to relieve chronic pain. Now you can bring that tried and true method into your home with So Well’s pain relief Himalayan salt bath soak. Our replenishing and healing formula is especially designed to relax, and ease inflammation, so that your recovery can begin. Feel the restorative powers of 84 different minerals embedded in the Himalayan salt, as effervescent apple cider vinegar and baking soda penetrate deeply to ease even the sorest of muscles. With antioxidant-rich Green Tea extract and essential oils, our Pain Relief Bath Soak is hand-blended with care for the So Well family.
Our Himalayan salt bath soak products all contain 84 different minerals, harvested from ancient sea beds in the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains. The minerals in these salts are then paired with a mixture of apple cider vinegar and baking soda to deeply penetrate and relax tense muscles. Our bath soaks, as with all of our products, are produced in accordance with the highest fair trade standards. These bath soaks are made with care and attention by Dana, a mother who crafts these essentials for her family.
Directions: Our So Well Himalayan salt based bath soaks are extremely concentrated, only two teaspoons are needed per soak for typical baths, and one teaspoon per soak for foot baths. Add more as desired for larger baths. Dissolve under warm, running water, slip in, and soak until relaxed. 33 soaks for baths, 66 soaks for foot baths.

Fair trade | Handmade
So Well® has been designing and importing handmade, fair trade, authentic and rare Himalayan salt lamps and other fair trade and handmade Himalayan salt products since 2004.

Our handmade products represent the highest standards, not only in our observation of Fair Trade practices, but also in our carefully-developed network of crafters. It’s our belief that the uniqueness of all of our Himalayan salt-based products is what makes them so special, and that’s reflected in their handmade production.
Our crafter network is US based so that you get the added benefit of buying American in as many instances as possible. We have vendors that are responsible for our bath & body, skincare, salves & balms, soaps, inhalers & neti pots, and more, using our custom and proprietary recipes, formulations and exclusive designs.
If mass production were the main goal, some of our products that our customers love and enjoy might never get produced. By maintaining our network of crafters, we’re able to guarantee a uniqueness and handmade quality you often aren’t likely to find in a product produced by a larger conglomerate. The handmade nature of our products allows us to ensure accountability for authenticity in our products and ingredients.
We’re sure you’ll find that any So Well product brings a tasteful air of handmade design and function to your home or office.
Soaking therapy provides a wonderful alternative to traditional heat and cold therapy for those who prefer a more spa-like experience. Soaking therapy with Himalayan salt bath soaks is a mixture of hydrotherapy and mineral baths, designed to provide relaxation while also working towards relieving pain, swelling and inflammation. Be sure to take a look at our full line of Himalayan bath salts as well.
Hydrotherapy, formerly called hydropathy and also called water cure, is a part of alternative medicine, in particular of naturopathy, occupational therapy and physiotherapy, that involves the use of water for pain relief and treatment. The term encompasses a broad range of approaches and therapeutic methods that take advantage of the physical properties of water, such as temperature and pressure, for therapeutic purposes, to stimulate blood circulation and treat the symptoms of certain diseases.
We recommend utilizing both soaking therapy with our Himalayan bath soaks and traditional heat and cold therapy with our Himalayan salt pillows for optimal results.

Cruelty Free & Organic
In the animal rights movement, cruelty-free is a label for products or activities that do not harm or kill animals anywhere in the world. Products tested on animals are not considered cruelty-free, since these tests are often painful and cause the suffering and death of millions of animals every year.
Animal testing is never used in any of our production environments, in order to ensure an ethical product for our consumers. To learn more about cruelty-free products, click here.
The organic movement broadly refers to the organizations and individuals involved worldwide in the promotion of organic farming and other organic products. It started around the first half of the 20th century, when modern large-scale agricultural practices began to appear.
Organic products are produced without the use of manmade chemicals or other harmful substances. You can learn more about the standards, benefits and governing regulations of organic products here.
At So Well, all of our products are held to high standards of cruelty-free and organic production, so you can feel good about the products you’re bringing into your home.
Food Grade Salt
If you’ve tried them, you’re already familiar with the wonderful flavor our gourmet salt products bring to your favorite dishes. What you might not know, though, is that all of the salt used in both our gourmet products, all of our bath & body products, and each therapeutic product comes from our inspected food grade facility, while our lamps, candle holders and other decorative products are produced in an adjacent, separate, facility specializing in decorative crafts. We sample each lot of food grade salt used in both the bath & body and gourmet products and have it analyzed and certified for content to ensure we can guarantee our standards of quality and safety in both of these product categories.
What this means, in short, is that whether you buy our gourmet products or our bath products, you’re receiving salt from a hygienic environment, and can use either product type both against your skin or for edible consumption. Each of our handcrafted products that includes our fair trade Himalayan salt, such as deodorant powders, soaks, or tooth powders, also makes use of only food grade salt.
So whether you’re in the market for a gourmet salt product, one of our bath & body or therapy products, keep in mind that they are both versatile in their uses. For example, you could purchase a 55 lbs. package of coarse or fine salt and use it in both the bathroom and the kitchen.
